White Dreamland
White Dreamland is a hair salon interior located in Taipei, Taiwan. The design is based on white tones and continuous surfaces. Artificial stone walls and large ceramic floor panels reduce the number of visible gaps and joints. Storage is hidden behind closed cabinets to keep the space clear and calm. Mirrors, metal and piano lacquer add brightness, together with natural light and white LED lighting. A cross-shaped circulation path and diamond-shaped forms organize the styling area. Four seats are placed apart to give each customer and each stylist a separate area.
White Dreamland Commercial Space by Wei-Cheng Lin has been featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. White Dreamland Commercial Space won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
