Drunk Bartender
Drunk Bartender is a packaging design for a series of classic alcoholic cocktails. The design is applied to a standard tin can with a volume of 330 millilitres. Each can presents the name of a classic cocktail in a literal way, through comical graphic illustrations. The graphic elements are intended to help the cans stand out on the shelf and attract the attention of buyers. Many designs for classic drinks look plain and similar, so a modern visual language was chosen. Drunk Bartender shows that classic drinks can also be presented in a modern style.
Drunk Bartender Packaging Concept by Bakhtiyar Baimurzayev has been selected as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Drunk Bartender Packaging Concept was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
