Clay Studio2
Clay Studio 2 is an office interior designed for product and visual design work in Tokyo. The space of 300 square metres is planned as a calm setting for concentration, in contrast to offices that focus mainly on communication. Concrete, paint and wood cement board are left unprocessed, so the room appears to be made only of beams and pillars. Garden landscaping and natural scenery form the background and bring seasonal change into the space. Desks face outward, and a seven metre table allows short meetings while keeping distance between people.
Clay Studio2 Office by 鄒琳 has been highlighted as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Clay Studio2 Office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
