Love Veggie
Love Veggie is a vegetarian restaurant interior located in Macau, covering about 350 square meters. The design brings a well known local tradition into a contemporary setting. The concept is based on the lotus, a form closely linked to Buddhism. Lotus images are translated into materials, patterns and forms. Laser cut gold color metal creates lotus patterns, while smooth blue upholstery and wood veneer add a natural and elegant character. A custom made feature light forms the main element of the space. The interior is intended to create a calm atmosphere.
Love Veggie Restaurant by Ting Fai Chu was selected as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Love Veggie Restaurant received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
