Heaven within Reach
Heaven Within Reach is a residential interior design set near mountains and a river in New Taipei City. The original house was rough in finish and held many large beams and columns, with the lowest point measuring 215 cm. The bedroom, storage, hallway, kitchen and dining area are placed around the center of the plan, leaving a spacious public area. A cross beam separates the public and private zones. An irregular arched ceiling, layered surfaces, rounded edges and a palette of white, dusty gray, deep walnut and black make the home feel light and calm.
Heaven within Reach Residence by Kenneth Lee has been recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Heaven within Reach Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
