Huafa Xiangshan Project

Huafa Xiangshan Project is a mixed-use development in the main cultural district of Zhuhai, set between the mountains and the sea. Two residential towers of 180 and 100 metres rise from a five-storey retail podium. The tower volumes are divided into three segments and appear faceted in elevation, which visually reduces the scale of the building and emphasises the vertical form. The towers are positioned to widen views towards the mountains and the city. The design also limits the shadows cast on surrounding buildings.

Huafa Xiangshan Project Multifunctional Building by Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. has been featured as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Huafa Xiangshan Project Multifunctional Building was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
