The Hyatt Residence
The Hyatt Residence is a three-storey home interior covering 360 square metres. The design meets the different needs of family members, allowing them to live together while keeping relatively independent spaces. The layout suits ageing life over the coming decades and serves people of different ages. The original separate three-storey pattern is broken by floors of varied shapes and sizes, which create rich spatial layers. A concrete stair was removed so a lift could be installed, and a new stair links the first and second floors.
The Hyatt Residence House by Li Lang has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Hyatt Residence House received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
