Reflection
Reflection is a residential interior design for an apartment of 123 square meters in New Taipei City. At the entrance, stone flooring with black and white veins and dark wooden cabinets set a formal tone. The kitchen partition was removed to extend the common area into an open plan layout with better ventilation, allowing natural light to travel through the home. Gray mirrors and marble are applied widely to expand the sense of space. A customized movable closet with tinted glass and metallic textures serves for both storage and display.
Reflection Residence by Poyu Chen was recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Reflection Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
