Framy
Framy is a customizable room divider designed for homes with limited space. Framy is assembled from any combination of seven panel types, including hanger, ladder, whiteboard, canvas pockets, mirror, sound absorption board and peg board. The panels are joined with hook and loop fasteners, so the divider can be set up quickly and folded flat for storage. Framy can also be used as a clothing rack or an organizer. The panels are made of plywood produced from thinned wood sourced in Hokkaido, Japan, a material that is often discarded.
Framy Customizable Room Divider by Shinnosuke Hosoda has been identified as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Framy Customizable Room Divider was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that recognizes exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
