Cavaliere
Cavaliere is an Italian restaurant located in Nea Smyrni, Athens, Greece. The space covers 200 square meters and is divided into an entrance and bar area, a seating and table area, and an open kitchen. Rustic elements were avoided in favor of multilevel decoration with golden metallic details, green marble, velvet fabrics and art deco features. Gold wood-fired pizza ovens recall traditional Italian food. Different light sources emphasize the architectural details. The seating area can adapt to the weather and open fully.
Cavaliere Restaurant by Konstantinos Gkagkos has been featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Cavaliere Restaurant was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
