Eataly Ginza
Eataly Ginza is a restaurant, market and cafe interior located on the sixth floor of Ginza Six, a commercial facility in Ginza, Tokyo. The design follows the concept of Eataly Garden. The total floor area of 1000 square meters is arranged as a group of small stores, with street lamp style lighting, plantings and benches. Horizontal partitions are kept to a minimum and the ceiling is left exposed, while changes in flooring define the zones. A central bar recalls an Italian town square. The garden layout invites visitors to enter with ease and to stay comfortably.
Eataly Ginza Restaurant by Daisuke Takamiya was selected as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Eataly Ginza Restaurant received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
