Lake Ville V
Lake Ville V is a residential interior design for a private house in Xintiandi, Shanghai, China. The home covers 500 square meters, and the outdoor space covers 200 square meters, which is rare in the city. Linear details drawn from local Shikumen architecture are used as a design language throughout the interior. The plan is arranged over two levels and includes a garden path. In the garden, plants, stones and wood form a multi-level space with varied textures. The layout supports social life, work and daily living. The project was completed in August 2021.
Lake Ville V Mansion by Quincy Li has been recognized as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lake Ville V Mansion was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
