Sakakini
The magnetic dome on the top of the bottle is the exact dome from the Sakakini Palace with its glorious rococo features as the intent is to remind people of the beauty of this abandoned building in a touchable way. The task was to create a luxurious and sophisticated product, package, and brand. It will promote Egypt's forgotten architecture and help save this rich heritage through the profits of the sales.
Sakakini Fragrance Packaging by Amr Ibrahim Mousa has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Sakakini Fragrance Packaging won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
