Silk Clubhouse
Silk Clubhouse is a hospitality interior located in the Xizha Scenic Area of Wuzhen, China. The design combines traditional Chinese residential styles with the character of mansions of the 1920s and 1930s, arranged as a South China courtyard cluster across 12100 square meters. Stone, wood, hard wrapped fabric and metal are the main materials. In the lobby, the original wood structure is kept and covered with delicate surface finishes. Red door panels mark corridors, entrances and turning points, while Chinese red and emerald green form the interior color scheme.
Silk Clubhouse Hospitality by Yufeng Luo was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Silk Clubhouse Hospitality earned the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
