Una Luna
Una Luna is a packaging design for a premium series of fruit candies coated in Italian dark chocolate. Two boxes were created, named Cherry Garden and Roses and Grapes, after lines from well known Ukrainian poems. Each box carries a collage illustration assembled from separate elements, and the fruit used in each series is repeated within the composition. A black background and minimal lettering give a modern and elegant appearance. The boxes are printed by offset technology with matte varnish and copper foil embossing on selected details.
Una Luna Confectionery Packaging by Olha Takhtarova has been featured as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Una Luna Confectionery Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
