Siela
Siela is a packaging design for a line of children's cosmetics. The design uses a white plastic tube of 75 ml, decorated by screen and pad printing. Stylized illustrations are placed at the center of the design, and a single character appears in different places and situations across the line. Color coding helps buyers tell the products apart. Text is reduced to a minimum, so the right product can be recognized quickly on the shelf. The white surface keeps the illustrations clear and easy to see.
Siela Cosmetic Packaging by Olha Takhtarova has been highlighted as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Siela Cosmetic Packaging received the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
