The Power of Pastry

The Power of Pastry is a collection of interactive paper jewelry kits. The collection includes rings, bracelets and brooches, inspired by the making processes and structures of pastries. Each piece is folded directly from one prepared paper sheet, so no glue is needed. A recorded guide video explains every folding step. The kits are offered at different levels, from simple rings to more complex brooches. The paper is laser cut and engraved, and is left blank so that each user can add a personal style. The collection shows that jewelry need not rely on precious materials.

The Power of Pastry Interactive Jewellery Kit by FENGHUA YE has been highlighted as an innovative illustration of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Power of Pastry Interactive Jewellery Kit was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2022. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that recognizes superior design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
