An Villa Aesthetics Pavilion
An Villa Aesthetics Pavilion is a private club interior in Shaoxing, China, covering 200 square meters. The space is arranged as a pavilion that coexists with a courtyard and is enclosed by dark gray grilles. Natural light passes through the carved grille ceiling and creates framed views with changing shadows. Water features, moss and trees form natural sculptures. Works of local artists guide each area, including rain ripples on marble, a moon shadow on water and an iron ship. The design turns oriental sentiment into contemporary life aesthetics.
An Villa Aesthetics Pavilion Private Club by Wei Jinjing, Wei Yaocheng, Zhang Huichao has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. An Villa Aesthetics Pavilion Private Club received the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
