Ant Boy
The fully autonomous Ant Boy is an advanced solution for automated delivery of materials in production. Compatible with existing infrastructure, the robot is easily integrated into delivery workflows. With its appearance, the robot resembles a small animal, with a good-natured and friendly character. This was achieved with the help of smooth body surfaces, a light communication system and the location of cameras and lidars resembling a face. Thanks to this, the robot is socialized and ready to work in a team with people.
Ant Boy Robot Transporter by Mikhail Chistiakov has been featured as a creative illustration of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ant Boy Robot Transporter was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design in 2022. The A' Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates excellent design of industrial robots, medical robots, agricultural robots, domestic robots, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, telepresence robots, underwater robots and more.
