Amblem Furnishing
Amblem Home Furnishing is an exhibition and office interior created inside a former factory building in Hangzhou. The original hall is 60 meters long and 24 meters wide. Office rooms that need daylight are placed along the outer walls. The open center is used as a flexible public area and is lit by an elliptical skylight. The layout combines lines taken from constructivist painting with elements of traditional Chinese gardens. Interwoven stairs and hollow openings form an inner garden with changing views along two verandas.
Amblem Furnishing Exhibition Hall by Wei Zhou was featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Amblem Furnishing Exhibition Hall earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
