Xijiu Silk Road Liquor
Xijiu Silk Road Liquor is a packaging design for a Jiang-flavor liquor collection that commemorates the Silk Road. The bottle is made of polished porcelain and carries ten porcelain paintings of ten landmarks along the Silk Road. A gilt ribbon inspired by silk wraps around the bottle body and follows the route linking the ten landmarks. The cap is based on the form of an imperial jade seal. The set is presented in a faux leather box with bronze pins and a handle. A double inner layer opens to display the ten landmark scenes.
Xijiu Silk Road Liquor Packaging by Zhu Hai was selected as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Xijiu Silk Road Liquor Packaging won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
