Wan Xiang Sheng
Wan Xiang Sheng is a gift box for Wuyishan rock tea. The outer box imitates the form of Wuyi Mountain and recalls the landscapes of Chinese painting. When the box is set upright, the outline shows a person in meditation. The box is made of special paper with a light gray rock texture, and gravure printing, embossing, debossing and hot stamping present the shape and texture of the tea mountain. The box opens like a book and holds two small packages with four packets of tea. The design invites calm and a different point of view.
Wan Xiang Sheng Tea Packaging by Huang Feng has been selected as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wan Xiang Sheng Tea Packaging earned the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
