The River One
This project is located near a river in Ningbo city. The building, designed by a world-famous architect Richard Rogers, features a bowellism style and irregular polygons on its appearance. Due to its structural design, the interior space is multi-angle and non-square. In order to reflect the philosophy of the architect, and to blend in its riverside-located background, the tortuous, water-like design embodies the layout and organization of the project, showing its fluidity and adaptability.
The River One Residential Apartment by Wei Ting Lin has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The River One Residential Apartment earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
