Line and Structure
Line and Structure is a residential interior design for a five-storey family house in Taiwan. The home was planned for a family of ten from three generations. Vertical and horizontal lines guide the view and link the public areas on the lower floors with the private rooms on the upper floors. Low saturation colours and metal details create a calm atmosphere. The main wall is finished with Neolith, a thin and recyclable stone material, while the walls are painted with Italian mineral paint. Light and shadow visually widen the long and narrow layout.
Line and Structure Residential by SAN.O INTERIOR DESIGN has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Line and Structure Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
