Rock Fire Praise
Rock Fire Praise is a Japanese barbecue restaurant interior. The design uses a red and black color scheme to suggest rock and fire. The dining area recalls the cave paintings of Altamira, which show early people making a fire and roasting meat. Rough fumed oak and porous volcanic rock are the main materials, and their natural texture adds a sense of history. The second floor is divided by bamboo fences, wooden hedges and shoji doors in a wabi sabi style. Lighting on the upper level simulates natural light. The interior aims to offer a calm and appetizing dining place.
Rock Fire Praise Catering Space by Yuquan Li, Xinyu Zhang has been highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Rock Fire Praise Catering Space received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
