Jiangshiguo State Liquor
Jiangshiguo State Liquor is a packaging design for a limited collection of jiang-flavor Chinese liquor. The bottle carries a raised relief of mountain trend lines and golden dots, which symbolize the lands and rivers of China. The surface color shifts from light blue to ink blue, suggesting a blue sky and green mountains. Auspicious clouds and a Loong figure are illustrated on the two sides. The cap is made of solid wood and metal, showing wood grain and gilding. The relief follows ergonomics, so the bottle is easy to hold. The package is opened by pulling.
Jiangshiguo State Liquor Packaging by Zhu Hai was selected as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Jiangshiguo State Liquor Packaging received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
