Peace of Mind
Peace of Mind is an office interior located on the second floor of a building in Taichung, Taiwan. The working space covers 300 square meters. Gentle wooden tones form the base color, and the textures of the materials add an elegant character. Clear glass and wooden partitions replace solid walls, so daylight reaches the interior. Large floor-to-ceiling windows face a park, and pine trees grow at the sides, bringing the surrounding greenery into the design. The intent is a calm and distraction-free place to work.
Peace of Mind Office by Jacksam Yang has been identified as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Peace of Mind Office was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
