Ode to Everything
Ode to Everything is a residential interior design of 99 square meters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Natural elements are brought indoors as a metaphor for life. The residence is located on an upper floor with a view of North Dawu Mountain, so curved forms shape the ceiling and the flooring. Marble, solid wood, quartz tile and iron are combined with earthy colors and pure white tones. An iridescent glass screen defines the entryway and lets light pass through. Sandblasted glass in the dining room depicts hexagrams. The layout allows light, sight and air to move freely.
Ode to Everything Residence by Tsung Lin Tsai has been recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Ode to Everything Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
