Mking Party K
Mking Party K is a karaoke venue interior located in Nanjing. The design is guided by the path of light and shadow. A doorway leads guests from the entrance into a series of unexpected scenes. Deformed walls create an impression of weightlessness. The ceiling is finished with water corrugated stainless steel, and its high reflectivity blurs the outlines of the space. An automatic hatch opens towards the hall and marks the change between areas. The intent is an immersive experience that invites exploration.
Mking Party K Ktv by Kuanxi Li was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Mking Party K Ktv was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
