Zhuojiu
Zhuojiu is a packaging design for Chinese liquor. The shape of the bottle is inspired by the axe, an object linked with strength. The outer box is cut from reclaimed wood and shows a crack, as if split by an axe. The container is made of glass. No printing is applied to the box or the bottle, and the product name is engraved with charcoal. The box is 300 millimeters high, 180 millimeters long and 120 millimeters wide. The bottle is 180 millimeters high. The wooden box can be kept and reused later as an ornament.
Zhuojiu Liquor Packaging by SHENZHEN JINJIA NEW SMART-PKG CO.,LTD was recognized as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Zhuojiu Liquor Packaging won the Golden A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
