Morcube Toy

Morcube

Morcube is a modular wooden toy designed for creative building and puzzle play. Each cube measures 75 mm on every side and is made of maple wood with a natural finish. Five precision-cut parts form each cube, joined by traditional mortise and tenon joinery without glue. The cubes connect through dovetail joints that slide together and can be pulled apart. A 45-degree bevel on each tenon allows smooth movement. Morcube supports creative thinking and offers a structural challenge for children and adults.

Morcube Toy by Ying Cui was highlighted as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Morcube Toy received the Iron A' Design Award in Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design in 2023. The A' Toys, Games and Hobby Products Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which rewards outstanding design of dolls, action figures, board games, puzzles, plush toys, educational toys, building blocks, model kits and more.
