Scentbon Perfume
Scentbon Perfume is a fragrance store in Taipei, set in one of the city's old business districts. The front door is made of iron and wood, linking the modern interior with the street outside. The shop window brings natural light inside. The handles and signboard are made of stainless mirror, which reflects light and the branches of a Frangipani tree in the front garden. Two see-through stainless steel shelves display more than 240 fragrances in front of the original brick walls. Items can be moved and replaced easily, so customers and staff can reach every product directly.
Scentbon Perfume Retail Store by Tai Chen has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Scentbon Perfume Retail Store earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
