Focus7
Dedao Focus7 is an eReader created for readers who value the feel of a printed book. The frame is made of aluminium alloy shaped by CNC machining, and the anodized surface resists slipping, wear and corrosion. The form recalls a folded page, a familiar gesture used to pause reading. The 7-inch E Ink screen has anti-glare glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. The weight of 210 grams is close to that of a pocket book, and the balanced structure reduces wrist strain. The packaging is ink-free, plastic-free and made of degradable pulp.
Focus7 eReader by WIlliam Volcoff has been selected as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Focus7 eReader was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Digital and Electronic Device Design in 2023.
