The Bund
The Bund is a residential development in Shanghai, China, with a gross floor area of 78,917 square meters. The facades follow the three-section composition of classical Chinese architecture and highlight horizontal lines, curved corners and Art Deco details. Chamfered corners are applied to towers, podiums, corridors, door heads and enclosure walls. The buildings are arranged in a scattered layout to create a sense of openness along the street. Lintels and brick walls from the former buildings are combined with modern materials to form a garden of memories.
The Bund Garden by Greentown China Holdings Limited has been selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Bund Garden was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Construction and Real Estate Projects Design in 2023. The A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that honors superior design of residential complexes, commercial buildings, industrial properties, Mixed-Use developments, hospitality establishments, educational facilities, healthcare centers, infrastructure projects and more.
