Speeding Bearing
Speeding Bearing is a storage case for the bearings of roller skates. The compact case is made of silicone, ABS and stainless steel, and opens and closes on a hinge. Storage cavities hold the bearings in stable piles, while a restraint structure in the lid limits shaking, impact and noise. A spring puller is held in a hollow part of the case and helps remove or install bearings quickly. A rubber band with hooks fastens the case closed. The lid combines frosted and transparent parts, so the contents remain visible.
Speeding Bearing Box by Zhuangda Technology and Industry Co.,Ltd was featured as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Speeding Bearing Box was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
