Fu Xiu
Fu Xiu is a bus station designed for urban public spaces. The form is inspired by the fluttering sleeves of oriental classical dance and opera, and curved lines give the structure a sense of movement. The station is made of stainless steel and artificial turf, and measures 19 meters in length, 7 meters in width and 2.9 meters in height. An intelligent system shows a guide map of the area and real-time bus information. The seats include wireless charging points, and a shared bicycle system is placed behind the station.
Fu Xiu Communal Facilities by Lai Jiebin，Shu Qianyun，Wang Tingting was recognized as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Fu Xiu Communal Facilities was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Street Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Street and City Furniture Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that celebrates excellent design of benches, bollards, bus shelters, bicycle racks, litter bins, planters, signage, lighting fixtures and more.
