Poly City Gather
Poly City Gather is a sales center in Shijiazhuang, China, covering 1,250 square meters. The interior opens with an atrium 12 meters high and 9 meters wide, crowned by a dome. White surfaces, regular lines of indentations and layered hollow details recall an image of layered mountains. A midair corridor links the areas and offers open views. Symmetrical marble panels frame the entrance hall. Transparent glass partitions, a curved array of chandeliers and controlled light replace heavy ornament. A red tone brings warmth to the VIP room.
Poly City Gather Sales Center by Melody Lau was recognized as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Poly City Gather Sales Center was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
