Longyin Shanfang
Longyin Shanfang is a Chinese restaurant interior located in Nanjing, China. The space covers 800 square meters and is themed on mountain forests within the city. Natural materials such as water, stone, soil and bamboo are used with contemporary processing methods. The layout follows the three distances of Chinese landscape culture, with trees, stones, springs and pavilions forming a layered scene. Holographic laser projection and video create changing landscape images. The design aims to restore an elegant and quiet dining atmosphere based on Oriental aesthetics.
Longyin Shanfang Catering Space by Weizhou Yiyuan has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Longyin Shanfang Catering Space earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
