The work adopts organic curve design, giving the wood a new 3D surface shape to improve its aesthetic feeling. Dynamic and static balance, aesthetic elements and functions are harmoniously integrated. Visual flow adds a sense of emptiness to the modern home space and conveys a unique and energetic feeling to users. Because of its unique aesthetics, this coffee table can be used as a sculpture or decoration as well as a side table.
YJ Side Table by Lai Jiebin has been recognized as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. YJ Side Table earned the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that rewards exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
