Marmo
Marmo is a collection of porcelain stoneware tiles that imitates the surface of natural marble. The collection is offered in two colours, a white version named Thassos and a black version named Morocco, each available with a polished or a structured finish. Several formats are produced, including a large panel of 120 by 280 centimetres with a thickness of only 6 millimetres. The tiles are made of mass-dyed, glazed and rectified stoneware. Frost resistance and anti-slip properties make Marmo suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Marmo Tiles by Cerrad Design Team was identified as an outstanding representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Marmo Tiles won the Silver A' Design Award in Building Materials and Construction Components Design in 2023. The A' Building Materials and Construction Components Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of bricks, beams, windows, doors, insulation materials, roofing materials, plumbing fixtures, electrical components and more.
