Smarteat
Smarteat is a mobile application for trading vegetables grown on smart farms. The app connects farm sensors to a mobile device, so growers can monitor cultivation and view real-time data. Growers can manage transactions and accept advance reservations from buyers. Smarteat provides objective freshness checks and suggests free sharing or sale of vegetables with reduced freshness, which limits waste. Buyers obtain fresh produce with reliable information at reasonable prices. The app runs on iOS and Android devices.
Smarteat Smart Farming Trading App by YouJee Oh was featured as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Smarteat Smart Farming Trading App was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2023. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards excellent design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
