Sunlight
Sunlight is a residential interior design for a three-bedroom home with two living areas. The layout allows a family of four to share an open public space and still keep private rooms. The living room, study and kitchen are connected, and furniture volumes define each function and guide a circular flow. A Nordic palette of grey, white and wood grain echoes the surrounding farmland, sea and city views. White paint forms the base, while wood grain on walls and ceiling softens an exposed beam. The master bedroom adds blue, and the children's rooms use pink, grey and blue.
Sunlight Residential by Tzu Lung Liao has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sunlight Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
