Greater Hermit
Greater Hermit is a residential interior design for a 71.9 square meter apartment in Taiwan. The renovation divides the home into four rooms and narrows the corridor to gain more private area. Display shelves and cabinets are arranged to hold a large collection of custom-made models. Careful lighting highlights the details of each piece. A single-sided glass door keeps the view of the storage area clear. Marble, iron, glass, fabric and wood veneer are combined with gold accents in a minimalist style.
Greater Hermit Residence by AS International LTD has been selected as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Greater Hermit Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
