Taishun Creative Design Competition

Taishun Design Competition is a visual identity created for a cultural and creative design competition held in Taishun County. The design is inspired by Dingbu, a stone stepping bridge that local people use to cross the many rivers of the area. Several sets of extended three-dimensional lines form the composition and carry visual symbols of Taishun, such as mountains, bridges and dragon dances. A gradient from green to white reflects the colors of the city. The identity presents a modern image of Taishun and aims to attract students and designers.

Taishun Creative Design Competition Event Visual Communication by Ying Gao was highlighted as a grand example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Taishun Creative Design Competition Event Visual Communication earned the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2024. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which recognizes superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
