Kenji
Kenji is a series of illuminated home furniture that includes a bed, a television stand, a nightstand, a bookcase and a vanity. Straight lines and neat striped panels form the shared design language, and the square shapes are repeated across the series. Board material is combined with acrylic, and the contrast of the two materials shapes the surfaces. Integrated lighting switches on when the bookcase or cabinet doors are folded down, and a sensor under the nightstand lights the room at night. The series is intended to create a calm and warm home atmosphere for rest.
Kenji Light Furniture by Ziel Home Furnishing Technology Co., Ltd was featured as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards.
