A Garden for All
This project is an educational project. It was an assignment on Typography Design given to tertiary education students from the School of Art, Design and Media, NTU, Singapore. The assignment was for each student to design Drop Caps as a font family. The outcome was multiple font families created by students and inspired on the flora, fauna, and unique features of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. From this, the best Drop Caps were printed in the book A Garden For All, published by the editorial Epigram Books in Singapore.
A Garden for All Type Design by Danne Ojeda has been recognized as an innovative representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. A Garden for All Type Design earned the Silver A' Design Award in Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design in 2024. The A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which recognizes exceptional design of textbooks, E-Learning platforms, educational games, training manuals, instructional videos, interactive whiteboards, educational software, lesson plans and more.
