Bamboo Cubic
Bamboo Cubic is an exhibition hall built entirely from bamboo. The design reflects the integration of production, life and ecology. All surfaces are made of bamboo, so the interior forms an immersive space. The structure is based on a cubic module. Several cubic modules can be combined to create varied spaces with a sense of depth. The name Bamboo Cubic refers to the versatility of bamboo and the variability of the cubic form. Traditional bamboo mats, weaving and craftsmanship are presented within the hall.
Bamboo Cubic Exhibition Hall by Li Yipeng was identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Bamboo Cubic Exhibition Hall earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
