Hiroshima Dentetsu
Hiroshima Dentetsu is a packaged souvenir hand towel sold in Hiroshima, Japan. The towel measures 25 by 25 centimetres and is made from origami cranes donated to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which are recycled into rayon thread. The towel pattern shows the maple, the prefectural tree of Hiroshima. Each package is folded from a single sheet of paper. One version has a cut hole that reveals the number 650, taken from a surviving tram. In the other version, typography appears in a stair-like form when the package is opened.
