Bucket Arch
Bucket Arch is a tea table inspired by the arch of traditional Chinese wooden architecture. The design applies the shape of the arch together with circular and square forms, keeping ancient elements within a compact size that suits present-day use. The table is made of solid black walnut, a stable and calm colour that blends into interiors. The tabletop is finely ground with CNC machine tools and then polished by hand. Bucket Arch measures 1600 by 750 by 720 millimetres and is suited to study rooms and living rooms for dining or tea.
Bucket Arch Tea Table by Lu Yi has been recognized as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bucket Arch Tea Table won the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that rewards superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
