Ecru
Ecru comes from the French word Ecru, describing the color of unbleached linen. Ecru Restaurant in Taipei's East District aims to offer a relaxed dining experience. The design uses a corridor at the entrance to shift from city hustle to tranquility, leading to an open area with a central open kitchen. This setup integrates cooking into the dining experience, engaging diners with sounds and aromas.
Ecru Restaurant by Chia Yu Chan was identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition.
